FAQ

Can I sign up and register on the day?

Sorry, the race will be full!

How can I check I have entered?

You will receive a confirmation via email and around one week prior to the event you will receive race-day information. In the meantime, don’t hesitate to contact us.

Do I need any special kit to take part?

No. If you usually prefer to swim with goggles you will need these. You need some shoes to run in.  You can run in your swim shorts/swimming costume and you will need a t-shirt or top to put on for the run if you are not wearing a tri-suit. That’s it! It is up to you if you want to wear socks on the run or a swim hat for the swim. If you decide to go sockless we’d recommend putting a bit of talcum powder inside your shoes to help prevent any rubbing.  A towel to stand on in transition to help dry your feet is also recommended. There is an introduction video here

Can a relay team comprise an adult and a junior?

For safety reasons the relay is only open to teams where both members are aged 15+ (so Youth or Adults).

My child is not 13 until October, can he still race in the 11-12 category?

No. As they will be 13 on the 31st of December 2022 they will be in the 13-14 category. Sorry, these rules are set by the British Triathlon Federation who sanction this event.
